Join us for the Freedom 5K, a fun, energetic race celebrating freedom, fitness, and our community! This event is open to everyone—runners, walkers, families, and participants of all ages and experience levels. Whether you're a competitive runner aiming for a personal record or a beginner just starting your fitness journey, the Freedom 5K is designed to be welcoming and enjoyable for all.

The 5K course (3.1 miles) is beginner-friendly, clearly marked, and supported with volunteers and encouragement along the way to keep you motivated from start to finish. You can run, jog, or walk at your own pace—there’s no pressure. Kids Half-Mile Run – A fun, non-competitive race for kids of all ages. All participants receive a finisher medal!

Race day packet pick up starting at 8:00 am race day morning.

Pricing: $20.00 for 5k participants, $10.00 kids run. $25 on race day - CASH ONLY.

Register by June 19th to guarantee your race shirt. Shirts available after that while supplies last.

All participants will receive a race shirt, a finisher medal, race bib and post-race refreshments to celebrate your accomplishment.

Location: Heritage Park (3241 N. Adrian Hwy. across from Adrian Cinema 10 on North M-52)

·        Race starts: 8am                  

·        Packet pick up: 7am

Entry Fee:

·        Non-competitive family fun run: $20 total for entire family (t-shirts available for separate purchase but not included) *REGISTER HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD  AND ALL FAMILY MEMBERS SEPERATELY! See event details!

·        5k race: $30 - chip timed, includes T-shirt if registered by 5/31/25, participation medal, and awards for male and female overall age group winners in the following categories:

Start Time = 8:00 a.m. Note: All participants must arrive before the entry gate closes at 7:15 a.m.

The most scenic and hilliest course in southeast Michigan! Come enjoy a beautiful fall morning at Hidden Lake Gardens for the 16th Annual RUN FOR THE HILLS! 1 Mile & 5K Run or Walk along paved roads. Proceeds from the race will benefit Hidden Lake Gardens and Oh! These Irish Hills.

Fees:

• $35 Early Bird Pricing until August 31, 2026
• $45 Late Registration starting September 1, 2026
• $10 Children 14 and Younger

T-shirts are included with registration until August 31. T-shirts are not guaranteed after that date and are available as supplies last at packet pickup.

We are pleased to invite you to our annual SHS 5K race. Exercise is an important part of good health, and every step we take leads us closer to being physically fit. At SHS our students learn the importance of being spiritually, physically, and mentally fit. While participating in our running club activities, students race toward a healthy lifestyle. Racers of all fitness levels are welcome to participate, whether you walk the course or run it!

For the 5k: Trophies for the overall male and female 1st - 3rd place. Medals for the 1st place in all male and female age groups. (Medals for 2nd and 3rd in the 0-8 and 9-12 age groups).

For the 1k: Ribbons for male and female 1st - 3rd.

Free T-Shirts for registrations for the 5k or the 1k before 5/8/26.
