Saturday morning running groups have started again. We are trying to get enough for 2 or more groups so that way there can be different distances and paces going out. If you're interested, meet at the store front Saturday mornings at 8am. Updated information about the running group will be posted on the store's Facebook page.

Race is held on the Hudson High School Cross Country course located behind the High School at 771 N. Maple Grove Ave, Hudson, Michigan. Awards to first and second overall, first master and top three in each age group, male and female. Age groups; 0-10, 11-13, 14-15, 16-17, 18-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

Join us at Hidden Lake Gardens and Run For The Hills!

Start Time = 8:00 a.m. Note: All participants must arrive before the entry gate closes at 7:15 a.m.

The most scenic and hilliest course in southeast Michigan! Come enjoy a beautiful fall morning at Hidden Lake Gardens for the 16th Annual RUN FOR THE HILLS! 1 Mile & 5K Run or Walk along paved roads. Proceeds from the race will benefit Hidden Lake Gardens and Oh! These Irish Hills.

Fees:

  • $35 Early Bird Pricing until August 31, 2026
  • $45 Late Registration starting September 1, 2026
  • $10 Children 14 and Younger

T-shirts are included with registration until August 31. T-shirts are not guaranteed after that date and are available as supplies last at packet pickup.

Packet pickup: 7:00 AM

Registration Fee:   5K Run: $20    1 Mile Fun Walk: $10 (10 and Under: Free—must still register)

*The first 50 paid registered runners & walkers receive a Free t-shirt

Awards will be given to the top 5K Run finishers in each age group, for both male and female. 0-14, 15-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65+
